This Garlic and Sichuan pepper (Timur) infused Oyster Mushroom is one of my favorite childhood dishes to eat as a side with rice, roti or noodles wrap etc. I infused garlic slowly in the Olive Oil with this special pepper and spices, adding mushrooms, and then cook until the garlic becomes soft with the mushrooms. Typically, my mum makes in this way which is I love it very much, spicy and the full of flavor, no other dish can beat it. So, today I´m sharing this special dish to you it is very easy cook and delicious. Try it out and enjoy.
Cooking and preparation time 25 minutes
Serves 2
Ingredients
300 grams Oyster Mushroom
10 cloves Garlic
2 red fresh Chilies mild spicy
½ tbsp Sichuan pepper (Timur)
4 tbsp Olive Oil
½ tsp Turmeric powder
1 tsp red Chili powder
½ Coriander powder
1 tsp fine Salt or to your taste
1 stem of spring onion to Garnish
How to make:
Prepare all the ingredients above.
Wash the Mushrooms and chilies, let them dry their water.
Chop the Garlic, Chilies, spring Onion and the Mushroom as you wish.
Next heat a pan along with Oil and add in Garlic and some Timur, let it infuse slowly for 3 minutes on medium heat, do not let it burn. Add in Turmeric powder, Chili powder and Coriander powder, mix for 30 seconds.
Add in Mushrooms, combine it very well and cook it for 4 minutes, meanwhile grind the Sichuan pepper.
After mix the mushrooms, add in ground Sichuan, chopped chilies and Salt, combine it very well together and let it cook for 3 minutes on medium high heat then add in some spring onion, mix and done.
Very easy to make you can garnish with spring Onion before serving if you like and enjoy.
